NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. INTERNET ACCESS REQUIRED.

1. ELIGIBILITY: The "Inspired Living Begins Here" Online Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes"), sponsored by HomeFurnishings.com ("Sponsor") is open only to legal residents who: [a] reside in a ZIP code which is serviceable by one of Sponsor's partner retailers within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia; and [b] are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees, officers, directors and agents (and their immediate families and household members regardless of where they live, or members of the same households [whether related or not]) of Sponsor, its parents, divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, member companies/retailers, vendors, and advertising/promotion agencies (collectively "Sweepstakes Entities") are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes or to win a prize. VOID IN PUERTO RICO AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
2. ENTRY PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on January 1, 2013 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on January 1, 2014 (the "Entry Period").
3. TO ENTER: During the Entry Period, access www.HomeFurnishings.com (the "Sweepstakes Page") and click on the Sweepstakes advertisement. Enter your ZIP code to see if you live in an area served by one of Sponsor's partner retailers. If so, select your preferred retailer, click on the Sweepstakes link from your preferred retailer's site, then follow the instructions to complete the online entry form and submit your entry. Entries must be received by Sponsor's server by 11:59 p.m. ET on January 1, 2014. Entries will be disqualified if they are late, incomplete, and/or in excess of the stated entry limits. Any use of automated or programmed methods of effecting entry online is prohibited and may, at the discretion of the Sponsor, disqualify an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or receiving a prize.
   
   Limit one (1) entry per person/address/email address, per day.
4. RANDOM DRAWING/WINNER NOTIFICATION/ODDS: On or about January 15, 2014, an independent judging organization will select one (1) potential Grand Prize winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Potential winner will be notified by e-mail, mail and/or telephone. Potential winner will be required to complete a notarized affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and (where legal) a publicity release, which must be returned within time period specified in potential winner's notification letter. Any failure to timely return required documents, noncompliance with the terms of these rules or the return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will cause prize to be forfeited and the prize to be awarded to an alternate winner, pending verification of eligibility. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
5. GRAND PRIZE: The Grand Prize winner will receive a $5,000 Home Furnishings Shopping Spree, awarded in the form of a $5,000 credit at the participating HomeFurnishings.com furniture retailer of winner's choice. Products may not be chosen from more than one retailer. Delivery is available only within the chosen participating retailer's normal delivery area. Winner must select products within 90 days of winner determination. If the winner does not make his/her selections within this 90 day period, or if any credit remains afterward, the prize or any remaining credit will be forfeited. Prize value cannot be applied to prior purchases. No prize transfer. No prize substitution except at Sponsor's sole discretion due to unavailability, in which case a prize of comparable or greater value will be awarded. All other expenses not specified are winner's sole responsibility. All taxes (including without limitation Federal, state, and local taxes) in connection with a prize, and the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The $5,000 shopping spree includes merchandise to be selected at the furniture retailer the winner selected upon entering the sweepstakes submission form. The cost for delivery of that merchandise is the sole responsibility of the winner.
6. GENERAL: By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of Sponsor (whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes), and to comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Entries and other submitted materials become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sweepstakes Entities and Internet access providers are not responsible for incomplete, late, lost, misdirected entries or postage-due mail, or for any technical malfunction, human error, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or line failure in connection with any telephone network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entries are void if automated, unreadable, inaccurate, incomplete, tampered with, irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. Although Sponsor attempts to ensure the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for the actions of entrants or other individuals in connection with the Sweepstakes, including entrants' or other individuals' attempts to circumvent the Official Rules or otherwise interfere with the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for injury or damage to entrant's or to any other person's computer(s), other equipment, or person(s), related to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or using the Sweepstakes Site. In the event of any conflict between any Sweepstakes details contained in these Official Rules and Sweepstakes details contained in any Sweepstakes advertising materials, the details of the Sweepstakes as set forth in these Official Rules shall prevail. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned by reason of damage by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical limitations or failures, strikes, industry conditions, bankruptcy or liquidation, marketplace demands, applicable law, unforeseen obstacles, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, could corrupt, compromise, undermine, or otherwise affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, viability, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend all or any part of the Sweepstakes, and to select the winner from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension, as applicable, or to proceed in such a manner as may be deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Screen shots or any other evidence of entry submission will not be deemed receipt of any such entry. If a winner is 18 or older, as is required for entry, but not of the age of majority in state of residence, prize will either be awarded in the name of parent or legal guardian, or parent or legal guardian must ratify and sign any and all documents required of winner. Entry must be made by the entrant and via the means described above in Section 3 only. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, such entry will be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder to whom the email address (as declared in such entry) is registered at the time of entry. You are not a winner until your entry has been verified and you have complied with these Official Rules.
7. PUBLICITY: By entering this Sweepstakes, unless prohibited by law, the potential winner consents to use of his/her name, voice, photograph and/or likeness for advertising or publicity purposes for this and similar promotions without compensation, and may be required to provide a signed release acknowledging such consent. Moreover, by entering this Sweepstakes, unless prohibited by law, the potential prize winner agrees to grant to Sponsor, and its licensees, affiliates, and assigns, the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including without limitation the World Wide Web, at any time or times, the prize winner's respective name, likeness (actual or simulated), voice (actual or simulated), and biographical information as news or information and for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration; and further without such additional compensation, appear for, or provide biographical information for use in, any presentation or other activity which may include filming/audio/video/electronic or other recordings and/or interviews, as may be determined from time to time by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
8. CONDUCT: By entering and participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants represent and warrant that all information provided by entrant in connection with the Sweepstakes is true, accurate and complete. Sponsor reserves the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to disqualify and/or deem ineligible to participate in this sweepstakes or any of Sponsor's future sweepstakes or other promotions, any individual it suspects: (a) to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes or the sweepstakes site; (b) to be acting in violation of the Official Rules or the Sweepstakes Site's terms of service, privacy policy or other terms, conditions or guidelines; (c) to be acting in bad faith or in a disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; (d) to have failed to agree to these Official Rules; or (e) to be in violation of these Official Rules. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any internet site or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes is a violation of these Official Rules as well as criminal and civil laws. Should Sponsor believe or become aware that such an attempt has been, is being, or will be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any responsible entrant(s) and other responsible individual(s) in the attempted damage to the fullest extent permitted by law, including without limitation criminal prosecution.
9. RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants forever and irrevocably release, indemnify and hold the Sweepstakes Entities, and each of their parents, officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, shareholders, successors and assigns (collectively, "Releasees") harmless from and against any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the Sweepstakes, attendance or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity, or resulting directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize awarded in connection with the Sweepstakes, including without limitation personal injury, death, and/or property damage, as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and/or invasion of privacy and the collection, use and/or sharing by sponsor of personally identifiable information of the entrants.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: In no event will Releasees be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including without limitation direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising out of any access to and/or use of the Sweepstakes Site, the downloading from and/or printing material downloaded from the Sweepstakes Site, the removal from the Sweepstakes Site of, or discontinuation of access to, any materials, or any harm resulting from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of, or attendance or participation in, any prize awarded in connection with the sweepstakes. Without limiting the foregoing, the Sweepstakes, all prizes, and all materials provided on or through the site are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION/CHOICE OF LAW: By participating, each entrant agrees that all issues and questions concerning these official rules shall be governed by Illinois law without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction. Entrant agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in Cook County in the state of Illinois, and entrant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. Except where prohibited, by participating in this Sweepstakes, entrant agrees that: [a] any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and [b] any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys' fees; and [c] under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
12. PRIVACY: Information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with these Official Rules and Sponsor's Privacy Policy (as may be amended from time to time), currently available via https://www.homefurnishings.com/policies.do; provided, that in the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and such Privacy Policy, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail. By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree that Sponsor may share your personal information with the Sweepstakes Entities for the purpose of verification and prize fulfillment in the event that you are chosen as a potential winner.
13. SEVERABILITY/HEADINGS: If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Official Rules and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. Headings and captions are used in these Official Rules solely for convenience of reference, and shall not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of these Official Rules or any provision hereof.
